Video guide: Business & Store Configuration
On this page
Create business & business information
Enter your legal/trade name, registered country, contact details and address. This information appears on invoices and controls tax-authority availability.
Branch management — create, update, settings
Where: Management → Branches. Each branch is a physical location with its own stock, staff, printers and reports.
- Open Branches and click New Branch.
- Enter branch name, address and phone.
- Set branch-specific options (printers, floors, tax registration where different).
- Save. Assign users to the branch under Users.
Business hours
Define opening hours per branch. Hours are used for scheduling, reporting periods and (where relevant) online-ordering availability.
Tax configuration
Set your tax rates and how tax is applied. Sum Cloud POS supports:
- Multiple tax rates (e.g. GST/VAT, provincial service tax)
- Per-item tax and tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive pricing
- Tax on payment methods (a processing fee/tax on card or digital payments)
- Tax-authority integration — see Tax Integrations
Currency & language
Choose your currency (e.g. PKR, SAR) and interface language. These apply across the POS, receipts and reports.
Invoice & receipt settings
Control what prints on customer receipts and invoices: business name and logo, address, tax registration number, footer message, and which fields show. A visual invoice builder lets you drag-and-drop receipt layouts, add tables, barcodes, images and {{token}} placeholders, and download a PDF preview.
Logo & branding
Upload your logo under Company settings; it appears on receipts, invoices and (optionally) the KOT. Use a clear PNG for best print results.
Numbering & financial settings
Configure invoice/receipt numbering, opening balances and financial defaults. Numbering can be sequential per branch. Receipt templates can be synced across devices so every terminal prints the same layout.
