Live Order Notifications

Incoming SumBite orders appear at the counter automatically — no manual refresh, no separate tablet. A badge on the POS shows the count of pending orders at all times.

Accept with ETA

Accept an order and set the preparation time (ETA) — 15, 30, 45 minutes, or custom. The customer and delivery partner are notified automatically through SumBite.

Reject with Reason

If you cannot fulfill an order, reject it with a reason. Common reasons (out of stock, closed, too busy) are pre-configured for one-tap rejection — minimizing delays for the customer.

Go Live / Go Offline Toggle

Toggle your restaurant between accepting and pausing online orders from both the cloud setup page and the counter POS. Useful for controlled rush hours and closing time — no app-switching needed.

30-Second Auto-Polling

The desktop POS polls SumBite every 30 seconds for new orders in the background. No manual action needed by cashier staff — orders always appear promptly.

Simple One-Time Setup

Connect SumBite from the Cloud POS Setup page using your SumBite credentials. Once connected, the integration is active on all your POS terminals and the desktop app simultaneously.

Toggle "Go Online" from the Setup page or your desktop POS — your menu is now live on SumBite.

When you accept an online order, you can route it to the kitchen display (KDS) and trigger KOT printing — the same flow as a counter order. The cashier accepts the order, it fires to the kitchen, and the preparation begins.

Yes — use the Go Offline toggle from the counter POS or the cloud setup page to stop accepting orders temporarily. Toggle back to Go Live when you're ready. This is useful during extremely busy periods when the kitchen needs to focus on dine-in guests.
