Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) classifies banquet halls, marriage marquees and event venues as taxable service providers. Venues earning Rs 6 million or more annually must register and issue a PRA fiscal invoice for every payment received -- advance deposits included.

Under Punjab Sales Tax on Services Act 2012, banquet halls and marquees providing services must:
